An Insight to Our Fabrics

We are excited to announce our new partnerships with several amazing mills to bring you the very best fabric selections from across the world. By partnering directly with these mills, we have a much wider selection of fabrics for those guys that really want to invest in something special and truly one-of-a-kind.

Our team worked diligently to select mills that we are truly passionate about, many of which have a rich history in the industry and others that only a handful of select specialty stores in the states are able to offer. Two of our favorites being Fox Brothers and Piacenza.

FOX BROTHERS

Fox Brothers has produced woolen and worsted fabric in Wellington, Somerset for nearly two hundred and fifty years and they are officially credited as the creators of flannel. Their range of fabric is persistently growing from super lightweight plain-tabby weaves for suiting to classic twills and basket-weaves perfect for jackets in a range of sophisticated colored checks and plaids.

For this Fall we are loving their Fox Tweed collection. Beautiful rich tones of greens, blues and rust in classic patterns dating back to their origin.

PIACENZA
Founded in 1733, Piacenza is one of the oldest and most respected mills in the world being family owned and operated for fourteen generations. While best known for their cashmere, Piacenza also spins wool, alpaca, camel hair, and the exclusive vicuna, harvested from a camelid animal that lives in the high altitudes of the Andes. Piacenza prides itself on its highly customized fabric finishes many of which are created by age-old craft traditions.

Our favorite collection from Piacenza is their Dishley line. Woven using only the natural colors of the Bluefaced Leicester Sheep, this line is a prime example of Piacenza’s dedication to wholistic and sustainable practices. The fabrics in this collection are all in a variety of rich brown and oatmeal tones that are the perfect colors for fall!
